Mesa Photonics releases a new ultrafast laser pulse measurement system based on frequency resolved optical gating: FROG Scan

Mesa Photonics is pleased to announce the issuing of US Patent 7,130,052.

Here are some standard configurations of FROG Scan that we sell.  Please realize, however, that you can customize these configurations, or come up with your own depending on your needs.

FS-1Ti-S

FS-1Ti-L

FS-1VIR

FS-1CUS

A FROG Scan configured for Ti:sapphire lasers.  Input range of 640 nm-950 nm with a temporal pulse range of 12 fs - 10 ps.  A spectral resolution of 0.41 nm at 400 nm.  The longest transform limited pulse that can be measured is about 1 ps.   This configuration can measure chirped pulses as long as several picoseconds.  Since the crystal thickness is 30 microns, very long pulses can cause a reduction in the signal levels for very highly chirped pulses.  Delivery time 8-10 weeks.

A FROG Scan configured for Ti:sapphire lasers, but with a thicker SHG crystal than above.  Input range of 640 nm-950 nm with a temporal pulse range of 40 fs - 10 ps.  A spectral resolution of 0.41 nm at 400 nm.  The longest transform limited pulse that can be measured is about 1 ps.   This configuration can measure chirped pulses as long as several picoseconds.  Since the crystal thickness is 100 microns, it is roughly 10x more sensitive that the FS-1Ti-S configuration.  Delivery time 6-8 weeks.

A FROG Scan configured for the visible and IR. Three different crystals and a single spectrometer are included.  Input range of 450 nm-1600 nm with a temporal pulse range of 15 fs - 10 ps.  A spectral resolution of 1 nm at 400 nm.  The longest transform limited pulse that can be measured is about 200 fs, which varies considerably from the blue to the IR.   This configuration can measure chirped pulses as long as several picoseconds.  Delivery time 10 weeks.

A FROG Scan configured exactly the way you want it.  Delivery time about 10 weeks.
