Version 7 of VideoFROG has just been released. With a new look and user interface, pulse measurement has never been easier.

The most current version of VideoFROG is version 7.0, (Version 7.0 build 1). If you have purchased V6.0 or later, you are entitled to a free upgrade to Version 7.0. If you have any questions, please contact Mesa Photonics support.

IMPORTANT:

For users of VideoFROG 6.0 on hyperthreading (HT) computers, using the firewire frame grabber along with Pixelink camera, you must disable the hyperthreading on your P4. To do this please complete the following steps:

Please follow these steps to disable Hyperthreading

  • 1. Click Start, Run.
  • 2. Type MSCONFIG and click OK.
  • 3. Go to Boot.INI tab.
  • 4. Click on Advanced Options.
  • 5. Check the box for /NUMPROC
  • 6. Ensure that '1' is selected beside /NUMPROC
  • 7. Click OK.
  • 8. Click Apply. Click OK
  • 9. Windows will prompt you to reboot. Be sure to complete the reboot before running VideoFROG
  • We apologize for this inconvenience. There seems to be a conflict with the drivers for the firewire devices on HT processors that does not appear to exist on true dual processor computers. For more information, please contact Mesa Photonics support.
