X-FROGscan

The X-FROG system uses a characterized pulse from a FROGscan to cross correlate with an unknown pulse to measure a wider range of pulses.
Sometimes the range from 450 nm – nearly 5000 nm isn’t enough or your time bandwidth product might be > 50. In those cases, we offer an X-FROG system that uses a characterized pulse from a FROGscan to cross correlate with an unknown pulse to measure a wider range of pulses.
X-FROGscan Screen Capture

Our X-FROGscan systems incorporate the same ruggedness and versatility of our FROGscan product line.

We designed and built it to be used day in and day out for all of your pulse measurement needs. Unlike the FROGscan, the X-FROGscan requires two inputs. One is known pulse and the other is the pulse to be measured.

Because the final system design is very dependent on the characteristics of the known pulse (reference pulse) and the pulse to be measured, each system is a custom configuration. Please contact us with the specifics of your application.

What’s included:

FROGscan Data

FROG Scan Screen Captures of Shaped Pulses. The primary advantage of FROG Scan is that it combines the wide wavelength range needed to measure very short pulses, with the spectral resolution required to large, high order phase distortions and temporally long pulses.

VideoFROGscan

VideoFROG Scan has versatile data acquisition, processing, and display. For ultrafast laser pulse measurement systems, the software is just as important as the hardware. VideoFROG Scan is the premier real-time FROG pulse measurement software available.
